Question: How are butt hinges measured? Answer: The height is just of the leaf not including the finials and the width is the total open width of both leaves and the knuckle.

Restoration of closet

Installed salvaged 8 ft high and 2 inch thick door to restore original look. The CAST BRASS ANTIQUED BY HAND hinges are supporting this heavy door and work smoothly and effortlessly. The look is perfect and matches 120 plus year old hardware in 120 plus year old house. In fact, they look as original as the original hardware. You cannot tell the old from the new.
