4" Solid Brass Steeple Tip Hinge With Decorative Vine Pattern

These are beautiful hinges! So similar to my original hinges. The pewter finish is fantastic.

I was dealing with an interior designer who brought me brass hinges for my new door, I was unimpressed by them. I started looking for hinges on my own, and found it in The House of Antique Hardware. I ordered a sample to make sure I loved it as much in person as I did on their site, and then I redid my entire house using them. These hinges are gorgeous, get compliments all the time. These match some of our original antique hinges BUT I was assuming that there would be some vine design on the reverse side (back side) that usually protrudes from the back. There are some sellers who indicate that and some that do not. Hinges that I have purchased previously, from other sellers do not indicate a partial back design but they have all had it, except the ones I have gotten from your company. Its not the end of the world but I took a chance and lost. It would help in your sales description.

I've installed these hinges on over a dozen doors. They work great. The slotted screws aren't bad, but they could be made of a better brass alloy. The screws are still much better than many of the screws coming out of India. I use flat black Rustoleum on the casting to give it more ""pop"".

We had remodeled our kitchen and everything looked fantastic except our old door hinges. I used this hardware in a remodel project. Transformed our front entry closet to look like an antique armoire. It's very beautiful and I get lots of compliments. The hinge provided the perfect finishing touch.

We purchased this item with several other items for the renovation of our 1875 Victorian building. we had to buy a lot of items (knobs, hinges, vents, etc) so we did a lot of research and House of Antique Hardware had the best prices for what we were looking for.
