Beautiful addition to your Gingerbread Victorian. The gold color goes with our color scheme (walls Ashes of Roses and green). Heavy/nice weight to the product too. Feels like they will last a long time. Very well made.

I got the lacquered brass switch plates and outlet plates. The thing I like most aside from the esthetics, is the fact that the plate has no edges that collect dirt as you search with fingers on the plate to turn on the switch. Instead, the plate where the switch protrudes is smooth and the decorative edges are recessed below the plate so that fingers rarely touch the decorative edges that generally are rough and would collect skin oils

The switchplates were heavy and crafted well too bad the matchings screws were terrible, rusted and discolored. However as usual the exceptional CS of Jennifer and HAH made the issue an easy fix, making the 5 star rating!

This is a beautifully crafted, very solid switch plate. It's so sturdy that I had to get longer screws to attach it. Its classic style makes it look original to our 1925 Dutch Colonial house. I bought three single switch plates and one triple, and they add a nice touch of elegance to the rooms and entrance hall.

We have a home that was built in 1900. Slowly but surely we are improving things while trying to maintain as much originality as we can. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've purchased from here and it won't be my last.
