This was just the latest purchase for me regarding these brass switchplates from House of Antique Hardware. I have many now throughout the house, and they're all of equally excellent quality. They're heavy and the most beautiful type of switchplate one can have on the wall in my opinion (I have others as well in ceramic from other manufacturers). To anyone on the fence about them regarding price, I will just say that once installed, they make a huge difference in the feel and quality of any room they're in, especially for an older house where the style fits.
