Door set dimensions: doorknobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Back plates are 8 3/4" H x 2 5/8" W.
Latch dimensions: Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick.

My 70-year old French door was restored so that it was once again operational. The only reason the door knob needed to be installed by a professional was because of the condition of the door. It is beautiful. I ordered a second one in the same style but brushed nickel finish for a newer French door in another room and the installation was easy.

Lovely doorknob! Oil-rubbed bronze is a bit dark, but we look forward to seeing it get natural highlights with use. Looks fantastic in our c. 1900 hoe!

These knob sets were purchased to complement the Queen Anne style home we are building to provide a more authentic look than the modern/conventional knob sets that were available locally. We chose the bright brass finish, as this matches the window locksets, door hinges, and other hardware in the house. They definitely look great and give the appropriate ""ambiance"" to the decor.
