Description
Door set dimensions: doorknobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Back plates are 8 3/4" H x 2 5/8" W.
Latch dimensions: Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick.

Over-all very satisfactory. Had to do quite a lot of searching to find a spindle of this type and necessary length to buy at my own expense. Major home improvement (big box) stores and other hardware stores no help.

My 70-year old French door was restored so that it was once again operational. The only reason the door knob needed to be installed by a professional was because of the condition of the door. It is beautiful. I ordered a second one in the same style but brushed nickel finish for a newer French door in another room and the installation was easy.
