Pair of Egg & Dart Design Door Knobs In Solid Brass

Front door knob to our 1910 historical broke months ago. Oversized spindle hole on the hundred year old lock had loomed as a BIG problem. The egg and dart knob set and spindle from HOAH was a godsend. Once I knocked the old spindle out, the replacement fit quickly and easily. The knobs look terrific and work great. Whew!

We used it on the back half of our front door and it looks and feels amazing!

Just bought a new house that was built in 1921 and someone had put some ""replacement"" knobs on our bathroom door. They were mismatched and did not seat correctly. These replacement knobs were a perfect fit and while they aren't a perfect match for the rest of the house, they look original and even made the door itself look nicer!

Our 1927 building had the strangest inside knobs, about the size of a silver dollar. Replaced those with this knob from HOAH in just a couple minutes. The new knobs are gorgeous, have a good solid feel and some weight to them. They fit perfectly even into the existing rosettes on the door. I plan to purchase several more of these. They were less expensive than reproduction knobs at the local antique salvage store. Installation was a breeze. Came with the hex wrench.

I was having trouble finding a new handle shaft that would fit the old lock. This one fit very nicely.
