Description

P. & F. Corbin's "Mantua" pattern of 1905 inspired this stately escutcheon plate. The lavish neo-classical design, originally produced in stamped brass or copper, is recreated in top quality forged brass. At 2 5/8" wide it works on pre-drilled doors and with vintage mortise locks. Complete the look with the matching egg & dart knobs (R-01NW-701009X)!

Dimensions: 8 3/4" H x 2 5/8" W. Inside collar diameter: 5/8". Center to center spacing of keyhole to knob collar: 2 1/4".

Hardware Tip

How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.

My den is off the kitchen and down the hallway. I recently put in a french door. I wanted to make it look unique. It looks beautiful and the design was perfect.

Goes great on the interior of our house.

We were building our first house. I didn't want just a plain ho-hum with no interior interest, so I found your product and used it on our dining-room double glass pane doors. they work beautifully.

Nice product - looks classy

I have lived with mismatched plates and knobs every since we purchased our home in 1996. Thanks to House of Antique Hardware, I can find the detailed finishing touches to make the house grand again.
