3 1/2" Cast Iron Steeple Tip Hinge With Decorative Vine Pattern

Used to replace one 110 year old hinge trying to match the other hinge. Very close match. Cannot tell they are different unless you look very close.

These hinges are exact replicas to the ones our house originally had. Our hinges were missing half the hinge and we needed to rehang a door that we found in our shed. These lines up perfectly with the holes already in place. Thanks for a great fix for our 140 year old home! We still have to fix some paint, but here are some photos.

I love how beautiful this was. That's the extent of my pro list. I'm leaving a 3 star review instead of 1 star, as I realize part of our difficulty could have been avoided had we approached it differently. The bottom line here is that I purchased two of these hinges, and they are not actually identical, dispite that seeming to be indicated. The pins that hold them together are two different widths- enough that they can't be interchangeable, but you can't SEE that they're different. The issues this caused for us as a result of them getting mixed up without us realizing, are: we now just-bent -enough hinges to not function properly and stripped out screws from removing and reattaching several times trying to determine which hinge pieces ACTUALLY went together.

This is a really great product, and the only reason for 4 stars has to do with hardware. If one uses this on a traditional interior door - no issue, everything should fit fine. Our issue is that we used it for a smaller spice closet door and the depth of the door is thinner than a traditional door. I couldn't find screws on this site to buy, or even the size of screw that was used. So I did some measuring, and found a similar color screw but it was phillips vs flat - so then it became a question of mismatched screws, or using a shorter screw on the wall when a longer one is stronger (we went with mismatched for now).

Remodeling , new stained doors, these beautiful hinges finish the complete redo.

These are a pretty close match to what is in the house so that is nice. Hinge was a bit loose. Getting set of straight slot and Phillips was a nice surprise.
