Replacing cheap, bent brass hinges with upgrade.

Perfect for our French casements

Comments:

Building a kitchen addition to our 1850's farmhouse using a lot of architectural salvage. Can't beat the quality or the price. These will be going on our French casement windows.

Perfect Hinges!

I ordered these to replace the original hinges. They look beautiful!

Small Cast Iron Hinges

Comments:

I was surprised to find an item of this quality for the price. I needed quite a few of these hinges (20) for a casement window project and I was able to keep the project a lot more reasonably priced than I had expected. I looked all over the Internet a could not find any other company offering this type of item at this proce. Thanks.

yes with hesitation

Comments:

The hinges came with two types of screws, philips and flat head. Each hinge was missing at least one philips screw and the flat head (or slot) screws were poorly made. Several did not have a deep enough slot to actually get the screw driver in to tighten them down. There was a very noticeable difference in them. The slot screws are a more accurate for the time period but require more effort and drill holes to use. Thus the problem with the poor quality of the screws.
