3 1/2" Cast Iron Steeple Tip Hinge With Decorative Vine Pattern

This fit into a door renovation I had done in my home. Even the screws were right for a period piece.

I have an old house built in 1908 and I love detail, I am so happy I found these hinges! They are perfect for what I'm doing and the style I like. They are very solid and heavy! They are a perfect addition to my house!!

Overall the hinges are good, not quite the detail of original, but only noticeable if you put them side by side. Sometimes there is a problem with the screws not having a slot. HofAH replaced them without question.

This hinge looks just like the ones in an old building that my grandma owned. I always loved them~the detail and quality of the past is reproduced perfectly. I used them on an old barn door in my laundry room. They look great! Love them!

Exceeded expectations. Even a clutz like me install without a hitch. A little wax ...no paint...the look 99% like the 150 year old originals on the other doors.

These hinges are deeper than your standard hinge. This means that if you install in place of an old hinge, you will have to chisel out more from where the old hinge was. Otherwise your door won't close, at least not if it sat tight in the jamb. Our carpenter ended up chipping our door jamb trying to install these hinges because our french doors wouldn't close after replacing our old hinges.. this is because they are about 1/16-1/8"" deeper than standard hinges.

I had all of my doors painted, and replaced all of the missing original hinges with these that matched perfectly!
