Love the hinges. The screws, if you choose to use the flathead version, are terrible. Most do not have a deep enough groove. Many have grooves that are off center so you can pretty much forget using an electric screwdriver or drill... it will skip off and scar the hinge or the wood. Also, for the ones with the occasional deed groove and off center... one half of the head will break off occasionally so you better hope the hinge is where you want it to be!

Used on cabinet with cremone bolts

My cabinet maker made a lovely linen storage piece for a bathroom remodel. As it has a bit of a primitive profile, it needed a little something something to make it special. These hinges are just unique and interesting enough to give the piece some pizzazz. The cabinet maker loved them the moment he saw them and the GC was impressed too!

The hinges work as expected and look very nice

These look great in an older home. Seem to be well made but after buying 6 or 7 pairs I found out they can't be mixed with one another and should be used as they come paired up. The matte black finish looks very durable. I'm not sure if they were meant to match an older hinge, I ended up replacing all of mine with these.

I had read a review that had said these hinges were not square so it took extra time to fit them. He was right. If you have the time to fit each hinge, these will work. And another thing, do not disassemble them and mix them up, they often are not interchangeable, and that includes the pins. That being said, I really like the looks of them and I have the time to fit them so for me they work. I would by them again because I feel the price is fair for a hinge that looks this cool. I'm glad I got them.
