Amazing Hinges make all the difference

Comments:

Built a book case for my wife's Christmas present. It was meant to look like an old Victorian cabinet. These hinges made all the difference in the world. Really made something that was pretty in-expensive look like a thousand dollar piece of custom furniture.

An Almost Exact Match

Comments:

We were looking for replacement hinges and trying to match exsisting hardware on doors. This came so close a match except for the finial on the hinge pin. Ours was pointed teardrop and this is round. So pleased with this purchase. We had two screws strip out, had to purchase extract tool and new better made black screws or our review would have been 5 stars.

Cast iron ball tip hinge

Comments:

I ran out of original hinges that match the ones in my 150 year old farm house. These hinges were a very close match. I had no problems installing them and they look good. I also appreciate the extra screws in case I lost one.

Great Quality !!

Comments:

These hard to find sized door hinges worked out great. Their a little pricey but the quality is outstanding. My old hinges , which were about 100 years old broke . the new ones were a perfect fit . The only difference was the screw holes were not in the same places as the old ones which was an advantage. Just drilled fresh new holes for a tight fit.

hinges look great

Comments:

I used these on cabinets in a reproduction of an English pub

Home made cabinet.

Comments:

We spent a lot of time making a nice cabinet so we wanted good hardware, something with a a hardy, historic look. We are very happy with this purchase.

Matches original hinges

Comments:

I have an original with ALMOST the same filagree. You did match it almost exactly. Size was a bit off but I spray painted it to match the other originals and it looks great. Can't tell the differenct.

Much heavier than expected

Comments:

It is thicker than hinges commonly made today, so you may need to carve out a bigger recess for it to sit

Screws loose

Comments:

Product is nice looking but the screws were poor quality.

This product was spot on!

Comments:

These were great and matched what was existing in our 1903 historic lodge!
