Description

A House of Antique Hardware Exclusive! Our Victorian Single Gang Push-Button Switch Plate In Antique-By-Hand is the most intricate and elegant you'll find anywhere. The exquisite Italian Renaissance design, with its fluted border and floral accents, is a faithful recreation of Russell and Erwin's "Pisano" pattern of 1897. Precision cast in solid brass, it is beautifully detailed and incredibly substantial. The hand-applied antique finish is not lacquered and will continue to age gracefully, developing highlights with use. Suited for restorations or new construction, this decorative plate adds a touch of understated luxury to any interior. U.S. Patent No. D755,606, D784,792

Piano switch plate

Comments:

This is a beautiful and substantial switch plate for a push button switch. I was having difficulty finding a switch plate of this style that sat flush on the wall. Other products had a bevel on the back side that impaired the functionality of the push buttons. This product did not have that issue making them fully functional as well as attractive. They are perfect!

Old Time Switch Plate

Comments:

Haven't put it up yet but it looks gorgeous. Now I have to buy for all the old 2 button switches.

Perfectly antiqued!

Comments:

House of Antique Hardware has the best selection of high quality finishes for a historic home or vintage look. The switch plate I received feels substantial and adds the perfect touch of authenticity to my 90 year old home. Fresh paint, wavy windows, and a combination of vintage and modern design compliment the antique finish and period style detail on this plate. It's slightly longer and slimmer than the average switch plate you'll find at the box store, so it looks as though it's part of the original detail of the house. If for any reason you're not satisfied, you won't find better customer service anywhere!

single gang push button switch plate

Comments:

I used these switch plates in my 1883 Victorian house. They look great.

BEAUTIFUL PIECE!

Comments:

Fantastic look, as if it was straight out of the 30's. The natural look of the finish backdates this wall plate beautifully. It's longer than a standard plate, but same width and holes line up perfectly to the box.

Screws are off a bit

Comments:

Bought the plate to replace an existing one. When I put it up, the holes for the screws were way off. I stuck it up on the wall without the screws and so far it has stayed fairly well.
