Beautiful Sturdy Brass Plate!

Comments:

Renovating my house and decided to install the push button switches (bought switches from AH too). Antique Hardware had the best designs for a push button plate. The plate is very impressive! It is a very heavy and solid piece and does not look cheap. The plate stands out on our wall and is a great finishing touch to the room! I only wish there was an option to purchase it lacquered. I want to keep the shiny brassy look but I will purchase a lacquer spray for brass and give it a few coats before permanently installing.

Classic Victorian

Comments:

This is a good looking, classic light switch that fits perfectly in my 1880s victorian. My house is not decorated victorian but I like to have the moldings, the lighting etc stay true to the bones of the house.

Heavy, beautiful cast brass

Replaced all my switch plates to these in a Victorian home built in 1888. I antiqued them and then applied a blue/ green patina.
