Description

These standard 10-24 set screws are used with vintage style knobs mounted on straight, tapped spindles. The screw slides through the knob and turns directly into the threaded hole on the spindle (not to be confused with headless set screws used for tightening knobs onto threaded spindles). The set contains enough screws to mount four knobs onto spindles. Made of brass-plated steel.

These are a #10 screw, 3/8" in length, with 24 threads per inch.

Church closet is back in business

Comments:

Our local church was built in the 1860's. Most of the hardware therein is original. A storage closet off the Chancel was out of use because the exterior door knob pulled out whenever anyone tried to open the door. The interior knob set screw had been missing for God only knows how long. A simple fix: a 4 pack of brass plated set screws. One to perfectly secure the knob and three extras for any similar situations in our old sanctuary. The set screw was a perfect fit.
