4" Standard Threaded Doorknob Spindle - 20 TPI

I had trouble with finding the correct spindle for my old door but Eve( I believe that's her name) was very helpful and got me the one I needed quickly! Thanks! I love the dooor knobs I picked out too, they look authentic with the door.

This is essential for older mortise lock sets. The 5/16 inch spindles that come with new knobs just won't fit. If you are working with old locks (100 years) save yourself the hassle and order one of these for each door when you order the new knobs.

Have search for correct length spindles for years, finally the correct length

Yeah surprise I've ordered from them are very good I've ordered a lot of glass vintage door knobs for house at 1844 trying to keep it all original and some other similar products that I will order it if you defend them and it came in on time undamaged they look very nice on the doors and brings back a classic vintage look to it thank you

A good product when you need a little longer spindle than the ""standard"" length of 3.5"" I had a problem with doorknobd that worked loose because the 3.5"" replacement spindles were just a little too short for the set screws to engage well with my door thickness and original hardware.

Changed backplates and needed a little longer spindle. Yah, they worked!

Some of the spindles on my old doors were bent and in need of replacement but the knobs and the rest of the hardware was fine. I was afraid I'd have to replace the whole set but luckily antique hardware helped me save some of the charm of my home

A bit pricey contents, but then again it hard to find these products, not to mention the quality
