A nice and solid reproduction
Comments:
These locks are definitely more sturdy than the aluminum locks that these are replacing. The finish is good, but isn't quite as good as I was hoping for at this price.
Again, perfect purchase.

Chrome finish complements chrome fixtures in 1938 bathroom, freshly painted.
Awesome Sash Locks
Comments:
I used a total of 8 of these sash locks and will be ordering another 6 to finish off another room when I get to it. Great item, Great finish. I would have prefered phillip head screws instead of the ones supplied. The screws supplied are pretty cheap and when you start to tighten they tend to bend, just be careful or pre drill holes. Besides that, everything works great, looks great, and definitly was a great buy.
Beautiful and functional reproductions

I used these for my 1925 craftsman cottage in the master bedroom. They are beautiful, functional, and easy to use. They were nearly identical to the original hardware I removed. The locks were very easy to install but we did have one of the included screws break during installation.
Beautiful Sash Locks

Excellent product- heavy feel. Easy to install.
Brass Sash Lock
Comments:
A perfect replacement for the original (1912) sash lock that was covered in decades of paint and not suitable for restoration. Much better and of higher quality than the original part!
Exactly what I was hoping for
Comments:
I was so pleased with not only the appearance of this window latch but of how solid it felt. I was especially pleased to see that the screws were quite long which gave me a better sense of security... I had purchased more decorative latches in the past only to find the screws were very short and would not hold up under an attempted break-in. I am so pleased with these latches that I plan to buy them for all of my sash windows in my 100 year old home.
Excellent Finish & Quality

Much better than what the home improvements outlets supplied.
Fantastic hardware

Very impressed with the quality and look!
Functional but not perfect
Comments:
I ordered these in the 'oil rubbed bronze' finish (black) and sadly the finish scrapes off every time I open or close the locks. They do close snugly and do the job of keeping the windows locked. I was disappointed to see that the finish did not stand up to the actual mechanics of the lock.
