Brass Keyhole covers
Comments:
I am moving into an 1827 federal style home. I have already found the solid brass door plates that I plan on ordering. The quality of your products is very impressive. Thanks and I will be ordering soon. Maureen Sutton
Brass lock accents
Comments:
Our home has many original pieces which from time to time can no longer be repaired. We have found that House of Antique Hardware is an excellent source of reproduction hardware and the hardware itself is not an ""over the top"" copy but rather a very close facsimile to the original material. Keep up the great work!
Door keyhole cover replacements
Comments:
Keyhole covers are very similar to the ones existing in my 1850's house. The covers had good patina as unfinished brass and excellent thickness, at about 3/32 inches.
Heavy and attractive
Comments:
Very nice thickness and quality machining. If it were up to me, I would add a slight bit of distance between the key aperture and the bottom screw. Be careful when boring the main hole through your door for the key to reach the lockset- for there to be enough clearance to accommodate the key passing through, there might not be enough wood left there to hold the bottom wood screw. But that's more ""installer error"" than designer error. Beautiful complement to any authentic lockset installation. Happy customer here.
Real Brass, Heavy, NOT a stamping.
Comments:
Much nicer than any steel stamping with fake brass anodized finish. These will go well with your other brass door hardware. A must for any mortise or surface brass lockset. Well priced too.
