Beautiful, solid, and functioning well
Comments:
In the process of restoring windows in an old historic home. We needed hardware for a couple broken ones and its hard to tell they arent the original.
Came with Unsuitable Screws; Hard to Install
Comments:
This ""Victorian"" design came with Phillips-head screws, a type of fastener not invented till the 1930s. The product description incorrectly refers to ""slotted screws,"" though the photo shows Phillips. In addition, the two pieces of the lock fit together too tightly, making installation an unforgiving process. You must place the pieces in exactly the right positions, or else they bind.
Great Product and Helpful Staff

As a do it yourselfer I am always looking for unique ways to use products and your the only company with the vast amount of options on quality products.
Nice, but...
Comments:
Problem is, the screws don't screw down flush with the latch. The heads are a tad large. Really detracts from a clean appearance.
Perfect match for my old sash locks
Comments:
Would have liked to see different finishes available, copper would have matched my 100 year old sash locks.
quality going downhill
Comments:
I am restoring a big Victorian with lots of windows. I have seen the quality of this item decline a little with each order, as I have ordered close to forty over in batches over the past three years, mainly with the size and quality of the screws. While this may not seem like a big deal, when you figure you're going to ask the latch to actually help you out and work, and the off-color of the screws which makes going out and getting replacements difficult, it is a pain. If I were starting out now instead of finishing up, I would not use this latch.
Sash Locks a great investment
