Description

Cast from heavy-duty, solid brass, this sturdy Transom Window Latch Hook in Lacquered Brass will open and close your window with ease. The 1/2 inch diameter button fits into the loop on the transom catch, allowing you to push or pull the loop as needed to disengage the catch. Fits a 7/8" diameter pole.

Dimensions: 3 3/4" H. Inner diameter: 15/16".

Hardware Tip

Transom Window: Small window near the ceiling often above a door or other window that is typically hinged at the bottom and opens in.

FASTENERS!!!!????

Comments:

Poor score is directly attributable to the lack of fasteners that were not included, which I cannot fathom. Are we supposed to find some at the hardware store and jimmy-rig them? Very poor planning.

Not just for transoms!

Comments:

After buying some cellular blinds that are 6 feet across and the handles too far apart for me to reach properly and a tall window, I thought the transom hook was just what I needed. I bought 2. The shape is perfect for hooking the hand holds to pull down and put up with whatever length pole you need.

The Perfect Tool
