Secure your shutters against coming storms with this sturdy "hurricane" slide bolt. With a long catch plate and a 3 1/8" throw, it balances the fastening force across both shutters. Made of solid cast iron with a black primer coat (paint before installation).

Top quality in both appearance and functionality

These are solidly made pieces which have an authentic feel to them. I have no worries that they will do that job for the next hundred years. The details are not frilly but rather show that a lot of thought went into the design and functionality of this piece. Can be fully disassembled in order to paint every surface to protect completely against rust.
