When security is a priority, this heavy duty 6 3/4 inch shutter bolt does the job. Crafted from 1/4 inch thick cast iron, it's as strong as they come. Matching slotted iron screws complete the authentic colonial look. The bolt is finished with a black primer coat and should be painted prior to installation.

With this bolt closed, nothing is going to open it. It is very well made.

In 1998 we had the shutters replaced on the East Point Lighthouse. The bolts installed by the contractor break. We installed yours and none of those have broken after some years on the building. Good work.
