Rope Rosette Door Set With Waldorf Crystal Glass Door Knobs

I recently purchased 4 of these doorknobs for a bed & bath remodel. A little pricey for me, yes, but worth it. I consider these doorknobs to be the rooms' ""jewelry"". I continued the theme with crystal knobs on the bath cabinetry.

The Waldorf crystal doorknob and the crystal of the faucet handles makes the bathroom feel glamorous.

Although a bit on the pricey side, I don't regret the expense . They are beautiful and add luxury and character to the finishings in the house. The knob takes a bit of time to install due to the sophisticated design but once the first one is in, the others are easy.

I initially ordered just 2 of these crystal knobs with brushed brass finish. The impact was huge. I am ordering more for my entire main floor. I am going to make a few changes, like using a larger back plate with shiny brass- as I think this finish will bring out more of the crystal's beauty. I had my handyman install these, as my painter did not have the proper tools. I would not attempt to install myself. My handyman charged $20 per door set. I'm going to see if he will reduce to $15 for the rest, as there will be about a dozen on my main floor.

I have been changing all the door handles in my house, to the crystal door handles. They are a beautiful touch and they feel solid. I can't wait until they are all changed because they are gorgeous!!!!

Compliments the classical decor in my wife's office. Quality is superior to most other options considered.

I loved this door knob and it was perfect for my daughter's room! Untill I got a call at work that she was trapped in her room! We had this door knob professionally installed by a contractor, along with another one which also had the same problem. I had to leave work, drive an hour home and use a spatula to pry open her door. She was on the second floor and there was no way out! I have sence had the door re-installed, and after just 3 days we have the same problem. This is just a passage door knob, there are no locks, it just gets stuck in the ""closed"" position and the knob turns but does not release the door. It looks great, so we keep it on the door, but we can't close our doors for fear of being trapped and we keep a cell phone for emergencies. These are very expensive and look good, they just don't work.
