I have a VERY heavy mirror that is a part of my grandparents' antique bedroom set. I wanted to hang it in my 1918 Craftsman Bungalow, but knew the plaster walls would not hold it. I found this heavy duty hook and the 3-ply Twisted Picture Hanging Cord to hang the mirror from the picture rail. It works perfectly.

After purchasing my 1910 Prairie/Craftsman hybrid home, most of my wall art languished on the floor for a year simply because I was unable to find appropriate picture hooks to hang my art from my picture rail. Enter House of Antique Hardware. These are the best quality and simplest picture hooks that I have found. I bought the first round (antique copper finish - gorgeous) and immediately wished I had ordered more (I did later.) I am VERY pleased with this product and recommend it if you have a home with simple lines (Arts and Crafts, Prairie (mine), or any combination of those.)
