In regards to the title of my review, I've been swapping out the white faced plugs with plastic covers in the house I just bought with black face plugs & brass covers. The plugs from Home Depot (at least in MA) all have child safety features built in which is great except it makes them larger than the boxes in my walls. Also I don't have kids. The plugs from these folks are just straight up plugs, which is awesome.

Great authentic looking replacement for our 1850s home

These were returned. House of Antique Hardware would do well to supply upgraded receptacles, such as Leviton's commercial grade. These are poor quality and were shipped loose in a box without packing materials. The face of the receptacles were scratched beyond acceptable.
