Unlocks my 92 year old locks
Comments:
One of the two keys unlocks all the doors on the interior of my house. Unfortunately, the key is too skinny and goes all the way through the lock. I have to find the exact spot to stop in order to turn the lock. The key is fine for unlocking and locking a door occasionally but would be quite a pain to use often. I will continue to look for a more bulky key.
Opens old locks
Comments:
Allows us to use some original mortise door locks on our interior doors. However, while they do open and close the locks, on our locks the keys fit and ""hang"" very loose in the locks, so we can not leave them in the lock and you have to work just a little to get the alignment right.
Did not work for me :(

One of these keys worked to lock my old door, but did not work well to open it. I had to really play around with it to get it unlocked. I would not try to lock it again. To be fair, the website only claims that it opens a percentage of mortise locks but does not claim to fit all locks. I would still buy them again since it was only a few dollars and it was certainly worth a try.

I spent the cold, hard winter re-discovering the beautiful brass hardware in my 1920's bungalow. And many of the missing pieces were found at House of Antique Hardware.com together, we brought out the best in this nice little house.
Saved me from killing my roommate...

I own my own home but in order to work in Manhattan, I rented out my place and got a room. My landlord/roommate had agreed to put locks on my bedroom door and closet. (I have a lot of tech and am a woman living with a man in the big bad city, so this was priority one for me), but he dragged his feet for a month. When I told him I would put locks on my door, he refused saying that he didn't want an eye sore. Instead of getting upset, I researched locks on my doors. They were mortisse locks requiring a skeleton key. I couldn't find anywhere in my local area that sold them, but after reading the reviews for the dual set that seemed to be almost universal I decided to take a chance. (I mean for [$] why not?). To make a long story short they worked! and I simply handed my landlord the receipt. Drama avoided. Thank you very much. :)
quality good just are too thin.

I tied these keys on my handmade Christmas cards with ribbon. They were the perfect size and made a very unique card. Everyone who received the cards loved them and the keys. I'm so glad I found your company. I do plan on ordering a few larger keys in the darker colors for use in my home.
Old House/Lost Keys
Comments:
The very old skeleton key to the very old (original) front door of our very old house (1870)was lost and there was no way to secure the door. I ordered a pair of your skeleton doors keys. The first one we tried worked. Hallejulah! This very old lady is one grateful customer.
