Good Product/Good Service
Comments:
I ordered these blank keys to try to look a very old door which no longer has a key. One of them actually worked! I was very impressed.
Keys worked for newer mortise locks not older locks
Comments:
My first floor appears to have older mortise locks (ornate and dulled metal) and these keys didn't work in any of the locks (4 locks); However, the second floor appears to have relatively newer mortise locks (less ornate and shinier metal) and both keys worked in all locks (3 locks). Since I was hoping for keys for the second floor, it was an overall success! The keys feel relatively sturdy when handling them, but it feels that they have the potential to bend over time when turning them in the somewhat ""sticky"" locks, although I haven't observed any bending yet.

These keys work well.

I removed all of my locks and cleaned them, and these keys both work great.
Brass Skeleton Door Keys
Comments:
Intend to use on 100 year old house. Looking for lock springs.
They work!
Comments:
One or the other of these keys work in all of our 1892 Victorian locks! They seem like they could break if they were turned too hard, but they are a good value for the money. Now that I know they work, I am ordering more sets.
The Secret Garden Key
Comments:
The keys were used in our school district production of ""The Secret Garden."" They worked well for our needs. However, the finish does wear off easily. It was not a problem for our use, but be aware.
Great pair of brass plated skeleton door
Comments:
i was so happy with my skeleton key. I was happier when they worked on my 100 year old home doors.
Beautiful...but didn't work
Comments:
The keys are beautiful...lighter weight than I expected. We have a 20-year-old Victorian replica with 14 vintage doorknobs salvaged from other structures before they were torn down. I don't know if the doorknobs are not installed well, or if we just hit on a bunch of doorknobs that don't match the keys. Only one key worked on one doorknob.
great keys for a group event
Comments:
These came faster than I expected and are perfect for a Christmas activity I'm planning for our company.
