Meadows Forged-Brass Back Plate

This lovely classical-style back plate was inspired by P. & F. Corbin's "Como" pattern of 1905. The delicate beaded design, originally produced in stamped brass or copper, is reproduced in top quality forged brass. At 2 1/2" wide it works with both pre-drilled doors and vintage mortise locks.

Dimensions: 7 3/4" H x 2 1/2" W. Inside collar diameter: 5/8".

How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.
