Description

This lovely classical style back plate was inspired by P. & F. Corbin's "Como" pattern of 1905. The delicate beaded design, originally produced in stamped brass or copper, is reproduced in top quality forged brass. At 2 1/2" wide it works on pre-drilled doors and with vintage mortise locks. Complete the look with the matching beaded knobs (RS-01NW-701007X)!

Dimensions: 7 3/4" H x 2 1/2" W. Inside collar diameter: 5/8". Center to center spacing of keyhole to knob collar: 2 1/4".

Hardware Tip

How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.

we have had these door plates for three years and they still look brand new. Very easy to clean and they stay clean even with kid fingers.

Meadows Design Forged Brass Back Plate

The hole had to be re-bored to fit the older glass knobs that we had to work with as the knobs did not seat well in them. We were able to do this using a rotary file on a drill press. However, there may be others out there who do not have access to the necessary tools to accomplish this task. We have purchased a total of 9 of these over the past few years and they look great in the areas that we have re-modeled. Thanks for carrying these items...

Really like the item

Purchased 10 of these for our home in polished brass. We have older doors with mortise lock sets and these go great with the existing glass handles. These door plates are beautiful and are good quality. They have nice weight to them and feel substantial. Adds a nice touch of charm. I wish all of our doors had these, but some of the doors are newer and we don't feel like replacing them all at this time.
