Ring of 7 Unique Barrel Keys For Cabinet & Furniture Locks

I often am called on to repair/restore locks, had a hard time finding suitable blanks locally. This set looked good, came quickly, and required very little filing to operate current lock project smoothly.

I purchased the ring of seven skeleton keys in an attempt to replace a lost key for an antique hutch. One of the seven keys fit one of the locks and I will now be ordering a second ring to see if there is a replacement available for the top lock. The gal that assisted me was MOST helpful! I will recommend Antique Hardware to anyone who needs any type of hardware or antique fittings for something. Thank you to Antique Hardware and the gal that assisted me. A locksmith would have cost me at least $200.00.

I needed a key to lock a beautiful small Eastlake 4 drawer dresser. Keys at a local antique mall are $15.00 each and you need to take a drawer there to try them as they are NO return.

I ordered this set of seven keys, hoping that it would include a key that would fit an antique secretary desk. To my very pleasant surprise, I found not only two that fit the secretary, but another two that fit other items -- an old armoire and a child's desk that my daughter had bought at an estate sale. You can say that I'm a very happy camper to get more than I expected!

I've been doing a lot of restoration lately, recently I found a wash table with three locking doors. House of Antique Hardware has info on their site as to which skeleton key I might need. I chose to get the ring, since I have three doors, thought I'd like three keys; and since it was a good deal. In fact, two of the selection of keys fit nicely. I could order a single key if I want a key for each drawer. The key ring and extra keys look cool anyway as a decoration, or I might make something out of them too!

When moving into my house, I discovered the keys for the curio cabinet were gone. I went online and found House of Antique Hardware! The perfect key I needed was in the group I ordered. The rest of the keys I got are now hanging close by as a statement in my decor.

I wish there was a more decorative way to keep these keys together.
