Stamped Brass New York Back Plate With Keyhole

Real nice product,blends well with other original hardware in my home because the finish is so well done.Worked perfectly with the reproduction knobs,spindles and mortise locks I purchased from House of Antique Hardware.Flat head screws are included so it looks right though I think the screws are weaker metal than the old screws.

Searched everywhere for this to replace the original door plates for our home and this is the only vendor I could find that sold. The customer service was excellent and answered my questions and helped me place order through email. I will be a repeat customer! Thank you.

Make sure you purchase two at a time (when doing a new doorknob installation). I ordered one thinking it would come in a pair and only one plate was delivered (my mistake). Other than that, great product and beautiful satin nickel finish. I would definitely recommend this product.

When I decided to strip the paint off of the door plates I found out they were brass. My bathroom is mostly chrome and nickel. I found that HOAH had polished nickel plates and I was really curious how they'd look on my newly painted bathroom doors. They matched the old plates exactly and were very easy to screw onto the doors. But, they look soooo cool! I'm not sure I've ever noticed polished nickel door plates before. These plates are a subtle but perfect addition and accent to an old bathroom that's getting an authentic update.

Looks great, works great. Some separation of ""washer"" around spindle hole from the main portion of the back plate can be expected.

Oil-rubbed bronze is more like a brown. If you MUST have that oil-rubbed look with glints of bronze peeking through, this is not the product for you. We installed these in an out of the way area so it's not a problem, but would think twice about it if they were where they would be seen regularly.

The product looks beautiful but is pretty pricey. It matches the hinges and door knobs I purchased from this site perfectly.

The small screws are made of very cheap and soft metal. They are prone to breaking when hand screwing them in even with pilot holes. I was installing these screws in an old door that already had a plate that I removed and was using the same holes. These screws were no larger or longer and when I twisted one off I took caution not to do it again and still ended up breaking another one. I have a lot of experience with remodeling and have a good feel for such things and was disappointed to have this happen. Beware.

I bought plates for my doorknob. I called, the man was polite, and I had the plates in a few days. Very easy, efficient transaction, and the plates are just right.
