Stamped Brass New York Back Plate With Keyhole

The original back plates that were on my doors for over 80 year were looking rough. So I decided to make a change and glad I did, these back plates are Beautiful far better than what I anticipated clean lined in elegant.

I decided to purchase a stamped back plate instead of a heavier forged back plate because the door on which I installed them is closed most of the time. It was a good decision, but I would purchase a forged back plate for an often-used door because it just seems more durable.

Rich finish, been using for several years now.

I've got these plates in both unlacquered brass and polished nickel, both period finishes. They are stamped brass, which is authentic and an improvement over the stamped steel plates they replaced. They work best if you buy the matching knobs.

At first the homeowner was dismayed that the backplate wasn't in antique brass but later said she preferred that color after all.

I have an old 1884 Victorian house and had a hard time finding fixtures. Not anymore. Thank you.

I can't say anything bad about these stamped all brass back plates. They are strudy and fit the orginal screw holes. They are what I hoped for. My original door knobs were a bit to big to fit these back plates, but it was time to replace the old door knobs with new anyway.

The backplates received were superior quality, with a really fine finish. They closely matched the old backplates closely in size and configuration but were much nicer.

I bought plates for my doorknob. I called, the man was polite, and I had the plates in a few days. Very easy, efficient transaction, and the plates are just right.
