4" Cast Iron Steeple Tip Hinge With Decorative Vine Pattern

These are heavy duty hinges, designed well and made to exact tolerances. I ordered four sets with an oil rubbed bronze finish for one room, they all fit perfectly (3 different sizes), except for one set where I had to do a little work with the chisel due to the previous installer not doing a good job... nothing to do with the hinge. I was so happy with the product that I placed an order for two more sets to use in a room I had previously thought to do something different! If you are going to take the time to restore your property, your hard work deserves to be complimented with quality fixtures and finishes! Don't scrimp.

This hinge matched perfectly with our 1850s Victorian. We kept as much as the original hardware as we could and these hinges just fit in perfectly. The only tricky part with the installation is that each hinge seems to be slightly different size. In other words you can't mix and match the hinge parts once they are disassembled for installation.

I am restoring a home built in 1884, and the hardware purchased were exact reproductions of what appears to be the original interior door hinges.
