Brass & Bronze Aging Solution - 8 oz. Bottle

Adds a great antique, highlight look when rubbed with steel wool after use

We soaked our items in the crockpot on high heat for 4 hours and then scrubbed to remove all dinge and dust. Then we put the solution in a little plastic container. We then either dipped or soaked for a few minutes depending on the desired aging effect on that item. It brought the piece back to life. We ruffed up some a bit to have that more aged and used effect. We used the assorted wire brush set and followed the intended use for our desired outcome.

Product was easy to use as the first time user on my kitchen cabinet hardware.

I am an artist who creates repousse designs in brass and other metals. I needed a quick way to add a patina to the background so the design would stand out, and this product was faster and as effective, if not more so, than the process I had used in the past.

This product worked great. Turned some bright brass hinges to antique brass in under a minute.

I cleaned the hardware with solvents first a tested it on the back first

Product works well on bronze. You may need more than you think if you have some area to cover!

The product did its job, but it was challenging to get no streaks or splotches on it. It would have been really nice to get some tips and tricks with the bottle.

Wish it were slightly cheaper, but this stuff aged new hardware I bought so it matched the original stuff on my house perfectly. The bottle says to leave things submerged for 1-10 minutes, but honestly rolling raw brass parts around in it for 45 seconds made them almost black. It works quick.
