Antique Finish Barrel Key For Furniture Locks

I bought an antique secretaries desk at an estate sale which unfortunately did not come with a key. I bought an entire key ring of barrel keys from a competitor's website and not a single one fit. Sending it back did not get me a full refund from them. The first key I bought from House of Antique Hardware fit perfectly. I will use this website again for any antique restoration needs!

A friend gifted my husband and I a early 20th century Grand Rapids antique cabinet. The key was lost during delivery to our home. I ordered a replacement key from House of Antique Hardware and was so THRILLED to have a working key that complimented the aesthetics of the cabinet.

The bit is actually 3/16""x3/16"" and advertised as 1/4""x1/4"". Being smaller, it would not function in my lock.

Only problem I had was that none of the keys fit my cabinet. I was willing to take that chance, but I would I've liked to know how long the keys were before I bought them.

fold down sectrecary needed work found some parts except the propery hinges or stays to hold the desk lid that folds down. there are no old parts only new bright brass wich does match the desk. this the second one i have repaired and my wife loves them. now working on a ceadre table 3"" thick, 67"" by 52"" cut from the same log.

I broke the key to my wife's jewelery box, and no local locksmith would even look at it to fix it. Found what I was looking for here, molded the tip of the key with my dremel tool and it works perfect!!

Inherited my wife's grandmother's buffet when my mother-in-law passed away. It was in dire need of restoration. This hardware was the perfect complement and such nice quality hardware.
