Description

This top-quality solid brass doorstop mounts directly onto a loose-pin hinge. Simply remove the pin, place it through the hole in the door stop, then re-insert it into the hinge. The amount the door opens is adjusted by shortening/lengthening the threaded arm. Choose from 10 classic finishes.

Dimensions: 2 3/8" x 1 7/8". Fits a 5/16" diameter hinge pin.

Does what they're supposed to

Door mounted stop to the rescue

Easy to install and adjust

Only place I could find a match for unlacquered brass hinges

Comments:

We bought brass hinges, removed the lacquer and aged them to match our 1950's brass door knobs. These doors stops were a great find because they come in unlacquered solid brass so we were able to skip the process of stripping the lacquer. Better yet, the price was reasonable and they are really nice quality. It's a bit strange that they don't guarantee the tip color but we requested white and the manufacturer came through. The shipped us the door stops with gray tips but included white tips separately which were easily swapped out.
