This New York Small-Plate Mortise Entry Set with Rosette Interior is made the old fashioned way - from stamped and wrought sheet brass. The timeless combination of plain beveled plates and simple round knobs looks as good today as it did a hundred years ago. A premium quality, precision made mortise lock completes the set. Choose from five period finish options.
Dimensions. Exterior door plate: 7" H x 2 1/4" W and projects 1/4". Knobs: 2 1/4" diameter.
Interior rosette: 2 3/4" Diameter. Thumbturn plate: 1 3/4" H x 1 3/16" W.
Mortise lock dimensions: Lock case: 5 1/2" H x 13/16" T x 3 3/4" W. Lock face plate: 8" H x 1 1/4" W. The brass strike plate measures 4 7/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide with a 5/8" tongue projection. The lock is field reversible for left or right hand doors and includes a 1 1/8" keyed cylinder and three standard keys.
This lock has egress and can cause lock outs if the stop button is not disengaged when exiting the door.

This small entry set has everything going for it: Great quality and design, it feels wonderful to the touch, and it's reasonably easy to install. It is discrete and handsome, and strikes a quietly impressive note of luxury that adds so much to the appeal of my entryway. ""Simple and elegant"" is an over-used phrase, but it definitely applies to this entry set. This is my first purchase from House of Antique hardware, but it won't be the last - I am very, very pleased.
