Pair of 1/2-Inch Diameter Galvanized Steel Arch Top Pintles with 2 1/4-Inch Offset
Description
With a 2 1/4" offset, these traditional arch-top pintles work well with brick veneered homes. Use them to replace worn or damaged pintles or to build your own custom sized shutter hinges (straps sold separately). Made of galvanized steel which is powder coated black.
Dimensions. Mounting Plate: 3 5/8" H x 1 1/2" W x 1/8" Thick. pintle Rod: 1/2" Diameter x 2 1/4" offset.

Hardware Tip
The offset of plate pintles is approximately the depth measurement from the back of the mounting plate to the center of the rod. Sometimes the offset measurement does not include the plate thickness.

Superior Pintels and hinges for real shutters
Comments:
These are extremely well built and very strong. No doubt about it holding the heavy solid wood shutters. we did some remolding and added stone work on the back of the house. Decided to add shutters to enhance the overall look as well as match the front of the house. Both the hinges and the brackets are far superior to the ones the builder used on the front of the house.
Will work great on functional shutters

At 8700 ft in the Colorado mountains, we get a lot of snow that piles up on the north. Tired of putting up plywood on several windows. Made permanent shutters and these will work great on them. Customer service a big help in sorting through the many options.
