Decorative Post Floor Mounted Door Stop

This is good. I haven't installed it yet so no idea what it will be like once it is in use, but can feel that it is solid. hope it works well. I expect that it should.

Initially I was annoyed at the price but it turned out to be well worth it. Haven't seen anything else like it that has an authentic feel. Beautiful design, unobtrusive, totally solved the problem of our heavy front door smashing into the wall. Who knew I'd be so impressed by a door stop!

This was exactly what I was looking for! This door stop keeps my lovely antique door from slamming and damaging my plaster wall. It's just the right size and the design mat has my Eastlake door hardware.

Nice, crisp detail. A very low cost way of adding just the sort of whimsical architectural element that makes Victorian such a fun style. (There is no need for a brass screw which will not be seen, and is a weak metal that can snap when screwing in to a hardwood floor - you may want to use a different screw).
