Decorative Post Floor Mounted Door Stop

This door bumper is beautiful but unobtrusive, we used them in a Victorian house and they are totally perfect!

Yes pricey for a door stop, but just so classy and they work very well. If you're putting in knobs go the extra mile and get these.

I liked how the top screws off making it easy to screw in from the top. However, I was surprised at how hard the black bumper is. It's truly like solid hard plastic or wood. No cushion at all. I was expecting a smooth rubber bumper that would cushion the door if it were opened with a bit of force. This would make a huge bang and dent our freshly painted white doors. It was almost like the rubber bumper had degraded and become hard and rough. will try to exchange or return.

It's as attractive doorstop with very smart details.

the screw is not of a quality for installation in a hardwood floor

The door stops nicely add the finishing detail when placed for double parlor doors which enter into a formal dining room. The door stops are nicely detailed with a quality feel and solid weight.

A very unusual (for me) door stop that solved the problem of several of my old doors denting the wall with the door knobs.

Worth what I paid for it which is a plus these days. Nice decorative touch. Shows you care about your home.
