Description
To install our floral door stop, simply unscrew the top cap, insert the wood screw through the hollow shaft and drive screw into the floor (pre-drill the hole) with a screwdriver, the screw extends 1 1/4" outside of the stop. Recommend substituting a anchor type screw if going into concrete.

These doorstops are beautiful. Very heavy brass construction, and finely finished. My only comment would be that if installing on older hardwood floors, in addition to pre-drilling, it is helpful to tap the pre-drilled holes with a steel screw of the same gauge, as brass screws can easily deform and/or break.

I love this door stop! We have a very heavy entry door and this stops it perfectly. Our only issue was with the brass screw provided. It was not strong enough to handle our very old wood floor, so my husband swapped it out with a better screw. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend this product.

We are building a custom home and just happened on these doorstops. Knew immediately this was what we wanted. They are unobtrusive--but beautiful when you see them. And the work as they should. If you want a classy doorstop, this is it.
