Replacing hardware on doors from 1820 house. So far works great.

I put this thumblatch set on a door that is near another door with an authentic antique thumb latch, and it looks fine. It works perfectly and I am very happy with it.

Client had been carting around an antique latch for years in a shoebox, waiting for the right door. We installed the door, but the front latch was All the client had. We tossed the latch from this kit, used the balance of the parts. Interfaced well, operates smoothly. All parties well-pleased.

I am a stickler for detail which i know can not be mass produced. The wrought iron work is a little too bulky which I am sure would totally satisfy most homeowners needs.

Looks and feels like the original. I own two homes circa 1850 - 1880. I try to keep original parts when I can. Solid construction and installed the same as the old one. I am sure I will be using your products more now that I am aware of the attention to detail and quailty.

We have replaced old broken latch type latches with these all throughout our early 19th century home which we are restoring. They add that touch of early Americana that has been lost over time.
