""I ordered the wrong nails""
Comments:
I ordered rosehead nails and meant to order wrought nails to finish off a wide planked oak floor in a log cabin. Before I even returned the nails the company had sent out the proper nails to finish off the job. The floor looks amazing! Thank You, Toni Mangel
Antiquing the nails
Comments:
Soak nails in salt water for one week then let sit out on plywood for one week for old look
Cool old nails
Comments:
They look great
Decorative but not holding power
Comments:
Had to use a hidden nail to hold light basswood, then drill and insert nail to hide fastener.
Exactly the solution I needed

I am very attached to my wide board pine floors, all 400 sq ft of it. The floor has never been more than 100 feet from where it grew. I felled the trees, sawed them into lumber, dryed the boards for two years, and finished them. I was committed to this job. When it came time to install, I needed to have the perfect nail. I must have tried ten different nails and this was the one I used. I holds great, drives true, and self sets. I already purchased these nails for the next floor, four years down the road.
Fabulous.

These are not what the big box stores would have you believe sufficient for face nailing heart pine. These are the real deal, beautifully made, and transition well with what is 125 years old in other parts of our home. We couldn't be happier.
Great Product will buy again

Great service and product!

Great product! Just a few too many bum nails in the box for my liking. Otherwise would use again.
Historic quality old days performance
Comments:
These nails were used to face nail second hand pine flooring in my glass carving studio recently built in the garage of a restored historic home built in the 1850s. The end results baffled my neighbors because the flooring looked original (especially the rosehead nails). It's amazing how a small investment in a historic looking/made product can make new work look vintage.
