Different Than Expected

Comments:

Was going to use these on a new cedar chest with a vintage look. However, the nails heads weren't as attractive as I thought they would be. Used the Decorative Wrought Head Nails instead.

Gave my project the look I wanted. Will definitely buy again

Comments:

Used it for my interior barn doors with the old well used look.

Great antique style nails

Comments:

We used these nails to face nail wide planked flooring. Exactly the look and function we were going for, would definitely recommend if you want to imitate old face nailed flooring.

Nailed it!

Comments:

These nails are as close as I could find to what I was looking for, short of making them myself--which I wouldn't know how to do. The price was fair. It's hard to say when I might need something like this again, but I'll know where to look for specialty hardware should the need arise.

I recreate 1700s cabinets and trunks. Works great.

Old style nails still do the job right!

Comments:

My daughter needed a new bookshelf to compliment her desk. After trying a kit (which turned out to be flimsy and failed miserably), I offered to try building one for her out of solid wood. I've been reading ""The Anarchist's Design Book,"" which has a wonderful section on nails. I'd never worked with this type of nail before, but with a little guidance, these nails have done the job wonderfully well! They are well-crafted, easy to use, and provide a solid grip. (Just make sure you hammer them in parallel to the wood grain, as crossing it could cause a split.)

Perfect for an authentic restoration

Used to restore a wobbly 1800's Welsh dresser

The nails were used to make crafts and worked great.
