24"" Slide Bolt saves $4000+ Door
Comments:
8ft. door was warped out at the top and would not close to seal. The 24 inch bolt slides easily up and latches to pull the door into the seal with slight pressure inward to the bolt knob. Requires some knowledge of attachment placement for travel distance and selection of mating latches.
24"" Solid Brass Door Bolt
Comments:
this item was better than anticipated. Installation was fairly easy, but the results were a rich looking brass lock. I highly recommend this product!
Exceptional Performance

Excellent Product
Great looking door bolts.
Comments:
Installed a pair of door bolts on a couple of antique side light doors that we refinished to our pantry. Completed the look in the kitchen on the 100 year old farmhouse . The bolts are heavy weight with a very nice finish.
Great Looks, Excellent Functionality!
Comments:
This 24"" long surface bolt was installed so that a wheelchair user could open the antique front door of a historic house. The size is perfect, it is heavy duty but effortless to use, and the antique brass finish means that it blends right in and looks like it belongs.
Great Sliding Deadbolt for French Doors
Comments:
Use the extra long deadbolt on my new 12 foot french doors to secure main door. Allows easy reach to top of door latch.

Lady bug solution
Comments:
Worked well to keep our 8 ft front door flush to the weather seal at the top. Without it we were getting thousands of lady bugs inside (okay technically Asian lady beetles). Installed this and so long!
looking for a solution
Comments:
I have 8 ft french doors and they were warping at the top a little. so I purchased the 2 ft door slide bolts, mounted them to my door and they hold the top of the door tight and in place.
Not in Texas
Comments:
Our monolithic dome features 8' tall patio doors. The upper 1.5' of the doors did not close properly and air entered into the home. In these parts of Texas a slide bolt, other than for the barn, is unknown. We used all sources available to the consumer, all insisted not to have heard of a 24"" slide bolt for the interior. We are grateful to the House of Antique Hardware to carry in their inventory such a fine product as we purchased. I can only recommend this vendor in every respect for the wide variety of the finest hardware collections. Thank you, F. Graf
