Ivy Pattern Picture Rail Hook

Strong, nice antique brass finish, fits well on the picture rails.

Readers; This is the 2nd order I have made for these tidbits[in conjunction with the wired/fabric hanger cord] They work just dandy, even if its not the fancy 'picture rail' molding the Company chirps about. I used one, as is from the box, and hung it over the Crown Molding in my Back PassageWay. Works just dandy. They have just enough 'flex' to the metal that they can be bent to fit any application, I even used a vise to flatten several! Do you want to save your walls from ""The Invasion of the Nail Holes?"" Buy some and be happy.

Now Readers, here is part One, of three Items, to get the nails out of the walls, to hang your art, or not, on the walls. I bought these to go over the 1x4 MDF board I had stenciled as a trim plank betwixt my repro 1840 wallpaper and the ceiling tiles. The hooks fit great over the MDF board, but I did not allow room for the hook to go over the top and down. Query, do I tear up half the ceiling or THINK? What I did was flatten the hook in a wide vise, to make it flat. Then I drilled a hole in the hanger. The hanger was then screwed to the MDF board with slot head brass screws. The curved back to the hook serves now as a decorative touch. These things serve a great function, it is great to see the Form revived. I would endorse this idea to every person who has a rental unit(s). The time saved on filling holes in the wall, or worse, it worth the cost of the items.

I just had picture rail moulding reinstalled in my home. Part of the reason I went ahead with adding the moulding was finding the perfect hooks to use with it.

Most picture rail hooks are utilitarian, at best. This one ups the design/aesthetics a great deal and is very sturdy as well.

My mail service is prompt in notification of packages rec'd. I had not heard from them, call the company and they responded immediately! Thus my mail service was able to locate the package (that had been there for at least 2 weeks- very prompt shipping!)

What a great exclamation point to my remodel! Nobody helping with the house had heard of these items when I ordered them, but were very impressed with how they looked and how they brought the rooms together. Very authentic but somewhat modern look (I used steel cable to give a gallery feel). The only drawback is that the finish is a little messy, had to wash my hands every time I worked with them and they left a little color behind on the white picture rail if they were moved at all.

we set up a ""Heritage Corner"" in our present church to display an old table and chair set from around 1900. It was used in our old church building for the communion table. We put up a picture rail to display old pictures on and wanted old looking hangers. The ones we recieved for you were perfect and look really good.
