2nd Order for a new batch of Hangers
Comments:
Readers; This is the 2nd order I have made for these tidbits[in conjunction with the wired/fabric hanger cord] They work just dandy, even if its not the fancy 'picture rail' molding the Company chirps about. I used one, as is from the box, and hung it over the Crown Molding in my Back PassageWay. Works just dandy. They have just enough 'flex' to the metal that they can be bent to fit any application, I even used a vise to flatten several! Do you want to save your walls from ""The Invasion of the Nail Holes?"" Buy some and be happy.
A Little Piece of Metal That Does Much
Comments:
OK. So, it's only a little piece of metal to hang pictures. But if you live in an old apartment with plaster walls you wonder why anyone ever gave up picture rails and these little devices. I can change or move pictures. I have no spider web of cracks in my plaster. People have actually commented on what a great idea it is and ask if I thought of it. I say yes. They have no need to know the picture rail was here when I moved in and I simply ordered these perfect little hangars (and some decorative cord that matches my paint).
A Satisfied Customer
Comments:
I am very pleased with my experience - ordering from your online catalog. Shipment was timely. Hooks are very attractive and useful. I appreciate them every day! In fact, I plan to order more in the future...thanks so much! I live in an old country farmhouse. I am so pleased that I have artwork to enjoy with out the holes in the walls!
Addicted to picture rail
Comments:
I have purchased these picture rail hooks in brass, oiled bronze and the antique-by-hand finish. We hang art and we used them for Christmas stars in our archway. This is the 2nd house I've lived in with picture rail and it is the only way to go. I learned the hooks or wire on the picture frame have to be near the top of the picture if you want it to hang flush with the wall. (As a HoAH staff member, I did get a small discount on the purchase price)
beautiful and efficient

Beautiful Picture Hooks
Comments:
We recently hung picture rail in our home so I could change art more easily/frequently and these hooks are just gorgeous. House of Antique Hardware was also wonderful to work with. Our order was lost in the mail and after getting in contact with them the situation was remedied quickly. I'll definitely order more things from them in the future.
Beautiful Rail Hooks are hard to find!
Comments:
My mail service is prompt in notification of packages rec'd. I had not heard from them, call the company and they responded immediately! Thus my mail service was able to locate the package (that had been there for at least 2 weeks- very prompt shipping!)
Beautifully designed picture rail hook
Comments:
This rail hook answered my needs for something decorative to use to hang paintings against walls of lathe and plaster - not wanting to drill lots of holes. I expected something similar to what I'd found at the hardware store - a picture rail-moulding hook with a small hole that had to be nailed into the molding. That process was very inconvenient. These hooks have pointed 'teeth' that grab into the rail wood, on the inside edge, and use the weight of the framed art to pull down and secure them - no hole in the actual hook, no nailing into the molding up at the top - just slide them between the molding and the ceiling. The reproduction of the ivy leaf pattern is so lovely, I only wish they weren't so high up toward the ceiling, so the pattern could be seen more!
