The Colonial look of our 9 1/4-Inch Suffolk-Style Shutter Strap Hinges (no offset) is still popular today! The straps are forged out of steel and the pintles are made of solid, cast iron. They feature a textured surface and rust-resistant, powder-coated finish.
Dimensions: Strap Width: 1 1/2". Strap Length: 8 1/2", 9 "(from end to center of pintle hole). Thickness: 1/16"(3mm). Offset: minimal . Throw: 1". Mounting plate: 3 3/8" H x 1 1/4" W. Pintle rod: 7/16" Diameter x 1 5/8" H x 1" offset. Fasteners: #M4 x 1" wood screws.

Authentic look, reasonable price

I have an eighteenth century farmhouse in New England that we have been restoring. These straps were just what I needed for rehanging the shutters, whose original hand-hammered finish was too degraded for reuse. Authentic look, easy installation. Now I'll shop for some shutter dogs here to complete the classic look!
