Authentic-looking, but lightweight
Comments:
Looks authentic, but this is a light weight item--it is not solid brass. If you want a true reproduction, buy the solid brass version. The difference when using the product is very pronounced.

Fine Quality, [...]
Comments:
More expensive than what you will find in the ""box"" stores but a good value for the quality.

Nice quality, traditional design
Comments:
Very nice quality product, authentic to replace existing broken hardware. Does require the service of someone familiar with mortise locks.
