Plated Steel Rod Picture Rail Hook

I bought various rail hooks to determine how to best use them. This shape was the easiest to use. I used small S-hooks to attach to the art.

The hooks are great because they are minimal visually but the hanging cord purchased has a musty, mildrewed smell.

These hooks are cute, sturdy, and exactly as described.

I may have purchased the brass color, but these are more like gold! At least to me, as a renter of an old Victorian in San Francisco, these picture rail hooks are precious as gold. Ordinary picture rail hooks have the wrong profile and just fall off. These magical little hooks fit perfectly and look beautiful and unobtrusive.

Great hooks but the finish is rough and inconsistent. Many hooks had burrs (on the inside curves - not visible) we had to file off before we could use them and if you have to bend the hook the finish can be easily damaged. BUT they are working great and do look good. The clean sleek design of the hook is what we wanted and they are perfect in that respect. will purchase more of these.

It is almost impossible to find store personnel who KNOW what a picture rail hook is, let alone find one in a store. I can find a good quility selection here.

We purchased an old home and are slowly restoring it. We have picture railing in every room and no hooks. After 3 years of searching...here they are. They look just like my old ones, are very sturdy, and were available at a great price!
